A Japanese map that likely dates back to the early–mid 20th century (roughly 1920s–1940s).

The labels are in Japanese katakana, e.g.:

“クルディスタン” (Kurudisutan) = Kurdistan
“バルーチスタン” (Barūchisutan) = Balochistan

It also includes English text like “Kingdom of Baluchistan”, which suggests it was meant for strategic or international understanding, not just domestic use. During the late 19th century up to World War II, Japan produced many maps of foreign regions called “gaihōzu” (外邦図, “maps of outer lands”). Japan had global imperial ambitions, so it gathered geographic intelligence far beyond East Asia and ethnic regions like Kurdistan were often marked separately for strategic/anthropological interest.
